The Nordic LED Pole Light (also known as our Nordic Light Stick) is one of our top lights It’s not hard to see the reason.
Simple design, a top-quality finish, and an amazing lighting effect create something exceptional.
We’ve got the lights on and now you have to decide – what are you planning to decorate it? What room do you plan to install it in? Do you want to use only one light, or mix with a few lights to create an installation for the wall?
Let’s take a look at some examples!
Combining two Nordic LED Pole Lights in the living room
If you’re considering living light fixtures for your living room it is essential to look for a light fixture that is distinctive. The living room is the place where you spend most of your time at home, so you won’t need a dull light in the wall that drains energy from the space.
You’re looking for a light that enhances the ambience! A light that can improve your mood in the space simply by being placed in the right spot at the right moment. Are you familiar with the feeling?
It’s difficult to describe, however you’ll be able to recognize that when you see it. It’s safe to say we can see it in the Nordic light stick.
The secret to the design that you see above lies in the angles that the lights are set against the wall. It is best to have them about 130 degrees to each one (I’ll provide the picture below so that you don’t have to search for your old math kit to locate your protractor! ).
If you make a sharper angle higher than such (say 90 degrees – also known as a right-angle) and it will begin to appear a little harsher on your wall, something that is almost military in nature, where everything is rigorous and has to be flawless. This is a fair statement to state that’s definitely not an ambience you’d like to recreate in your living space!
The 130 degree angle makes the appearance of the wall light fixture more serene and warmer, particularly when combined with the warm-emitting lighting (more on this in the future).
Another thing you’ll notice about the fixture’s usage of multiple sizes of Nordic LED Pole Light. We’ve combined the smaller 50cm model with the bigger 100cm one, since we believe it will create the ideal balance for the wall.
It would also work as well with the 80cm version rather than the 100cm however, this would depend on the dimensions of your living space and the amount of light that you’ll need this light fixture to produce.
A single Nordic Light Source LED Pole Light in the living room
If you think that your living space only required one lighting option to finish your home design, you could choose to go with only the single Nordic Lighting Stick.
If this is something you’re thinking about, we recommend placing the light close to the current fixture in your room such as a sofa or coffee table. As you can see in the picture above that we’ve placed it to right of the couch.
The reason why we suggest this is that having just one light bulb in the wall can create the impression that the wall isn’t complete.
It’s not a problem, it’s still a great look however, without an additional light source to help balance the design You may feel that the wall has something. It’s hard to explain, but you’d be able to tell when you see it.
It is best to put it in the same space as an existing fixture for your living space and, instead of the light being considered an independent fixture, it is seen as a light that enhances the already existing piece of furniture (in this case , the tables).
If this sounds like the way it would look in your living space it is recommended to install the light in a way that is pointed straight up (as in the photo above). Tables for coffee are typically narrow in size and, therefore, no matter the version that we offer in Our Nordic Light Pole Light you’re likely to have the light larger then the lamp you’re trying emphasize if you place the light in a sideways position (I.e. directed towards the window or door).
A divide between two rooms
The final design concept we’ll be discussing within this post is the time to utilize this Nordic Stick Light as a partition between two rooms within your home.
As you can see in the above image that there’s already an obvious separation between the rooms due to the wall’s small portion that extends out. However, by adding the one or the Nordic LED Pole Lighting to this particular section of wall truly looks stunning.
Another aspect to take note of when considering this style is the fact that it is placed on the floor – this means, having the base located closer to the top. This is as effective as having the light’s base at its bottom (i.e. with the light pointed toward the ceiling) This is completely dependent on your preference!
I hope that this article will help you to design concepts in Our Nordic LED Pole Light.
